I ordered the crab cake and was a bit disappointed by the lack of flavor but the hush puppies and Lima beans were good. They were great with the kids as they have an aquarium where they can look at the fish. The service was excellent and the food came out quickly.

We unfortunately ate here on a super busy night with a 70 minute wait. Some other restaurants on the street had lost power. This place is a little more expensive but the seafood is really good. i ordered the grilled shrimp with salad and peas. The salad was ok but I liked the homemade blue cheese dressing. The shrimp were excellent but the peas were from a can. for 25 dollars I would have expected fresh vegetables. I tried my husband's scallops and they were amazing. Our waitress forgot our hush puppies but when we asked for them she brought them right out. If I ate here again I would just order some appitizers since the seafood was the highlight.

First of all, never trust a restaurant where all of the license plates are from out-of-state. 1 star for main course. I had the special, which was blackened grouper. The blackened grouper was very dry. It tasted like they grilled it then sprinkled seasoning on one side of it after over cooking it. My father-in-law said his steak was disappointing, but my wife's scallops were pretty good. Vegetable of the day was canned corn... 2. Menu knowledge for server: Waitress didn't know if the seafood was local or not. 3. The tossed salad was by far the best thing we ate. I give it four stars for a mom-and-pop type of restaurant. It was spring mix with banana peppers, tomatoes, croutons, and bacon. Maybe I'm spoiled living in Louisville, Kentucky, and having been raised on the gulf coast, but that was probably the worst fish I've ever had at a restaurant

Lee's is a place we go to anytime we are at the beach. First they start you out with piping hot hush puppies that you dip in honey butter. They are amazing. Sometimes I eat so many hush puppies, I don't have much room for anything else. Next, try the she crab soup; it's more of a Charleston specialty, but they do it really well here. Then onto the entrée. I always have ordered seafood. When I'm at the beach, I don't order steak. I have been with folks who have ordered steaks here, and they seem to enjoy them, but you are in the "seafood capital of the south," so the seafood is going to be fresh and good quality. The fried oysters are out of this world. If you are an oyster fan, don't pass them up. You can get seafood blackened, broiled or fried, so you can customize your meal. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say they have desserts here, but in all the years I have been coming here, I have never tried one. I'm always too full!

Food is good, but not great. She crab soup is bland and needed more sherry. Service was disappointing.

We headed here to try out their food instead of the other Murrell's Inlet restaurants. You pass all the larger/newer places and it's on the right. Parking was in a lot and looked full but the place is huge inside and wasn't busy like we thought. It's an older colonial decorated place. And yes, lots of older people were here eating. But if you want a good meal, come here. We had the 'famous' onion rings. These are thinly sliced and everyone enjoyed them, even the people who hate onion rings ;-) The salad with the meal was enough for a meal. Tomato, cucumber, feta cheese, BACON, cheese and tons of crutons. Dressing was plentiful, maybe even too much. This salad was great!! Enough to share! The hushpuppies came with a honey butter and they were very good. Not too dry. Just right. Husband had Grouper. It was a special, and $29.95. I hesitated at the price but wow, it was 3-4 pieces of thick grouper. Best he had on vacation. Fried just right, and he loved the breading on the outside. He got a baked potato and had it loaded. One child had a grilled cheese from the kid menu. He loved it, and it came with 2 sides. I got scallops, broiled. That was my mistake. I prefer pan seared. I should have gone for grilled. They were a little undercooked and honestly, not enough seasoning on them. I think with more seasoning I would have been happy. My baked potato was great as well. They had homemade desserts and one child got the key lime cheesecake with strawberry sauce. It was yummy, but weird. Too many flavors in one dessert. However, it was good, so we figure the others would be too! Again, this is like a place the older folks would enjoy, but the food was good and we will be back when we come to town. They have an early dining option from 4-5pm with smaller portions and prices. Our server was very attentive and stayed on top of drinks. Great place

Lees Inlet Kitchen was amazing in every aspect. The service was attentive and very down-home. I had the she crab soup for the first time, it was delicious! I also chose the grilled platter, consisting of grilled flounder and scallops, which were outstanding! The salad was also very good. The hush puppies and honey butter were also a wonderful low-country treat. The meal was topped off by a slice of key lime pie, also delicious. We will be back for sure!

This place is absolutely a favorite for my entire family! We recommend it to anyone who even passes thru Myrtle Beach. Hope you will enjoy it too!! My parents have been married for 45years and started going here when they were dating! Lee's has been a staple to my entire family's beach-going enjoyment since I was a baby. It is so impressive that over 35years later I am still excited to go and enjoy a meal there any chance we get. We get there almost right when it opens so there isn't much of a wait. Be prepared if you arrive after 5:30pm - you will probably have to wait a bit. To encourage you to perhaps enjoy an early dinner they have a "lite menu" from 4:30-5:30pm. The meal always starts with their hushpuppies and honey butter -- but watch out! Don't eat too many or you won't have any room for the meal! Soon after we always get a mouth watering bowl of CLAM CHOWDER! Oh so yummy good! My favorite main course is their choice of two combination: Flounder and Creek Shrimp KIDS TIP: If you are bringing kids under about 7 or 8 yrs old - call ahead and let them know so you all can sit in the room with the FISH TANK. It is a great distraction for the kids to look at and enjoy. If you do not sit in that room - go take the kids over to check it out.
